Researchers at Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara ran an online survey of 109 healthcare workers in Romania and gave them a test on the law that governs AI. The group was mixed: doctors and nurses, administrators, and the people who handle legal and IT matters. They worked in public hospitals, private clinics and university settings. The test had 20 questions on the EU AI Act, the data-protection rules known as GDPR, the rules for medical devices, and Romania's own data-protection measures.
