A Short Pause Before You Take the Chatbot's Answer
In a study of 342 Chinese undergraduates doing short reasoning tasks, students who reflected before deciding accepted wrong AI advice 39.7 percent of the time, against 62.4 percent without the pause. The tasks were short and academic, and the students came from one university.
